Promotion center Pyeongchang Winter Olympics 2018 has been officially opened on January 4, 2016 and in Gangneung, Gangwon Province.
In accordance with the design Pyeongchang Winter Olympic emblem which symbolizes the snow, the center of this campaign consists of five rooms such as exhibition centers, 4D experience centers and others.
This promotion center was built with recycled container so oriented as environmentally friendly Olympics.
"We hope the establishment of the center of this promotion can be optimally promote Pyeongchang Winter Olympics 2018. And it can attract foreign tourists to visit here," said the Korea Tourism Organization Jakarta Office (Director Hyonjae OH), as contained in a press release Wednesday (06.01.2016).
4D experience at the center can try a virtual winter sports like ski jump and bobsleigh. While in the center of the room with every exhibition room there prosuder introductions and competitions, stadium locations, and other information panels Olympics.
In addition, the promotion center is also equipped with a dream introduction program and a seating area that presents an opportunity to try out winter sports for children from countries which do not enjoy winter sports.
The information center operates every Tuesday-Sunday from 10:00 until 19:00 and in the summer will operate at 11:00 am until 20:00.
