Unique scenery in Rotterdam, Floating Forest!

Soon, there is a new and unique scenery in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Bodies there will be decorated with a floating forest. Wah!

As State Kanal, the Netherlands has a city dominated by water, namely Rotterdam. They are not only satisfied to let the water there just silent. But wanted to make something different.

Visiting in Dobberendbos.nl, Thursday (28/01/2016), the project was made Bobbing Forrest. The project was conceptualized by Jeroen Everaert, Anne van der Zwaag, and Jurgen Bey. The concept, they will make a buoy or some kind of pot that can float.

Later, this pot will be filled with soil and trees. The more pot floats, the more trees that can live on the water. Expected later there is a forest on the water. It was a unique sight yes!

In the past, there have been pilot tree floats are made. Thankfully, the tree survived. So they believe the project is likely to be successful as well.

The plan, Bobbing Forrest will be made in Rijnhaven in early spring of this year. These waters will be filled by 20 green trees that make Rotterdam to be different. Let us wait!
